Trinity Church in Boston, an original print from Voyages and Travels Illustrated, published by E. W. Walker & Co. and dated 1887. The image is a photographic print in sepia tone, laid on a larger cream sheet, with the title "Trinity Church" in script and "Boston, Mass." beneath it.

The view is taken from the street corner and shows the church in its full Romanesque mass: the great central tower with its steep pyramidal roof and corner turrets rising behind a rounded apse and a gabled transept, the walls built of rough-faced stone with round-arched windows and banded detail. To the right stands a lower building with a peaked roof and a porch, and in the distance a second tower and further streets can be made out. The foreground is an unpaved street with timber stacked at the left, which gives the scene the look of a building still in a changing neighborhood.

Trinity Church, on Copley Square, was designed by Henry Hobson Richardson, and the building is one of the landmarks of American architecture of the 1870s.
