Antique print titled 'S. Bartholomaeus pluvian undique decidentem ab area Monasterii precibus arcet'. Scarce plate showing Bartholomew the Apostle in the rain outside a monastery. This print originates from 'Picturae Dominici Zampierii, vulgo Domenichino, quae extant in sacello sacrae aedi Cryptoferratensi adjuncto tabulis aeneis incisae' published 1762.

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Petrus Antonius Pazzi' after 'Domenico Zampieri'. Pietro Antonio Pazzi (1706, 1766), Engraver. Domenico Zampieri, known as Domenichino for his shortness (October 21, 1581, April 6, 1641), was an Italian Baroque painter of the Bolognese or Carracci School of painters.
